Here's how to get started

Install & Run

• Download and install CQG for Android from the Google Play Store.
• Tap on the icon on your home screen to launch the app

• Contact your broker and let them know you want to use the CQG app for iOS. If you don't have a trading account, find a broker on our website.
• Login using the trading credentials they provide you.

CQG for Android ships with some lists by default.

• To select from available lists tap on the list name in the top center of the quotes list.
   
• To add symbols, tap on the + on the upper left.
   
• To edit (reorder, delete, add) symbols, tap on "Edit" on the top left.
   
• In either case, if it's one of the lists included with the build, the app will automatically make a copy for you.
• You can rename the list if you want, it's yours now.

Symbol lists for CQG Desktop customers

• If you have used CQG Desktop before and use the same login, your lists from CQG Desktop should automatically appear.
• Changing lists: Tap on the list name at the top of the screen to see available lists. Tap on the list you want and hit the done button at the top right.
• Adding symbols: Tap the + button at the top right
• Edit: To reorder or delete symbols, or change the list name, tap the edit button at the top right

The quotes screen has a few modes with three columns of data:

• last, high, low
• last, bid, ask
• last, open, high, low
• and net change vs % net change

Toggle between the modes by tapping on the middle column and the far right column.

CQG for Android also has a quotes heatmap. Access it via the task menu in the upper right of the quotes screen.

Bottom navigation

Tap on the navigation buttons across the bottom of the app to have quick access to your orders and positions across all symbols you are trading, and to your account summary.

From the quote screen, tap a symbol, to go to details for that symbol.

Tap on the CQG icon or the arrow in the upper left to go back to the quote screen.

If you don't have a trading login enabled through your broker, you can test the app in demo mode. 

• Download the demo app from the Google Play Store.
• Tap the Get a Demo Account link in the lower right of the logon screen of the demo app
• Fill in the form and check your email for demo credentials.
• If you are already trying a demo of CQG Desktop, you should be able to use the same credentials.
• Contact your broker to get access with a live trading account.
